The objective was to upgrade from a simple informative website to an eCommerce portal that will offer online order processing of clinical tests and test kits. A customer (a patient or a physician) can browse through different tests and their details, order a test online, pay for the test via secure payment gateway and receive results online. To provide the client with eCommerce features to process online test requests as well as sell test kits of different pathological tests, Elegant MicroWeb designed a portal with dynamic content. It offered dedicated a team with right technical expertise, for complete life cycle of portal development, deployment and support. The assignment required Elegant MicroWeb team to acquire knowledge of processing and legal requirement of medical field in US market.
