Professional Community Portal development using Liferay Framework

Brief Description

A Community Portal based on the Liferay Framework is developed for a client based in Germany.

The client operates a business-to-business community focused on wireless market research and product intelligence in Germany. Members of the community routinely identify and share sources of market and product research with their peers as well as search events of significance for their daily work.

The Liferay based portal developed by Elegant MicroWeb categorizes information by key segments, topics and geographic location (country or region) and provides registered users with instant access to a repository of market and product research reports. The portal serves as a one of its kind promotional platform for companies registering themselves. User Registration is free following which users can select their topic(s) of interest. Any developments in the selected areas/topics are then intimated to users via email alerts.
