Case Study: Development of Public Website & Events Management Portal for India Centre for High Technology

The Centre for High Technology (CHT) is funded by the Oil Industry Board in India and is part of the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas. It was established in 1987 to anticipate future requirements, and acquire, develop and adopt technologies to advance refinery processes, petroleum products and other related areas.

Elegant MicroWeb worked with the Centre for High Technology (CHT) team to satisfy all objectives including the redesign of its public website using responsive layouts and user-friendly menus and navigation, the design and development of a Discussion Forum to be used by internal team members, a portal for the Refinery Technology Events Management (RTM) including attendee registration, the approval and publishing of expert abstracts, biographies and papers, as well as tasks related to events and approval workflows for internal team members. All project output included testing and auditing to ensure government regulations for data and user security in compliance with the India CERT-IN standards. The project components were delivered on time and on budget to meet all Client expectations.

Website Development, Hosting, Maintenance & Support for India Country Coordinating Mechanism

The India Country Coordinating Mechanism (India-CCM) was established by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare and other relevant and interested stakeholders. Its purpose was to access Global Fund grant monies, and to ensure those funds were well-coordinated within the national response, as well as to provide national oversight and ownership of grant implementation.

The Elegant MicroWeb team collaborated with the Client to conceive, design, develop, configure, implement, deploy and train solutions in support of Client objectives. The project resulted in a redesign and reimagining of the India-CCM website to include responsive layouts and user-friendly menus and navigation. The project was completed on time and on budget and enhanced Client operations with a solution that met expectations and supported the technology set as defined by Client requirements. The solution is easy to use, easy to manage and maintain and is completely scalable for future upgrades.

Technology Development Board, India Re-Engineers Website and Deploys Project Management & Workflow App

The Technology Development Board advances technology innovation in India through its technology grant process. The objective of this project was twofold. First, the client wished to improve its existing website to make it compliant with GIGW and CERTIN, and to make it responsive, and improve the navigation and increase user satisfaction and adoption and organizational visibility. Secondly, the client wished to establish a comprehensive project management and workflow system to support its crucial grant process from grant application through approval in order to streamline and improve the process for applicants, internal team members and stakeholders. The TDB project management and application workflow system supports grant applicants and internal members of TDB for vetting and approvals as well as approvals by other government and legal stakeholders.
