mobile-apps-development-services

Earlier this year, I had lunch with my friend, David, the tech guru. He helps me look smart with my boss. My company wanted to develop a mobile app for our employees. It had to be GPS capable, allow us to stream audio and video, and support touch screen, web services and web applications. David said to use Symbian.

What’s a Symbian? I consulted my dictionary and found that Symbion is an aquatic animal. That wasn’t it! I also found Simian, which is a monkey. David certainly didn’t want me to hire a monkey to develop my app. I called him and admitted I had no idea what a Symbian was!

Turns out, Symbian is a Nokia operating system with frameworks and tool libraries. The platform is open source and includes features for multitasking, and security, optimum efficiency for user interface and memory resources. It is a flexible, multi–level system for file service, plug–ins, storage and libraries and device compatibility.

The design includes an application interface class, a document class and an application class and a user customization feature TechView. Third party developers can get a digital signature from Symbian and an ACS publisher ID certificate.

Once I had the whole Symbian thing straight, I looked for a mobile application developer to provide the best, cutting edge skills and get my project done on time and on budget.

If you want to create a Symbian application, or manage a mobile application implementation, don’t hire a monkey! Hire the pros! or talk to us at info@elegantmicroweb.com
