Elegant MicroWeb worked with the Technology Development Board (TDB), New Delhi, an Indian Government organization, to deliver technology solutions in support of TDB’s mission and vision. The Technology Development Board engaged Elegant MicroWeb to redesign its website with responsive layouts, user-friendly menus and navigation; establish an innovative social media campaign, and search engine optimization (SEO) foundation. This comprehensive project also includes the design and development of a project management and application workflow system to support its grant process from application through approval. The project management and application workflow system is used by grant applicants and internal members of TDB for vetting and approvals by other government and legal stakeholders.
The Government of India constituted the Technology Development Board (TDB) in September 1996, under the Technology Development Board Act, 1995. TDB is a statutory body, established to promote development and commercialization of indigenous technology and adaptation of imported technology for wider application. The TDB is the first organization of its kind within the government framework with the sole objective of commercializing the fruit of indigenous research. The Board plays a pro-active role by encouraging enterprises to take up technology products.
Elegant MicroWeb CEO, Kartik Patel says, “Our team undertook a thorough review of the Technology Development Board’s requirements and provided support for recommendations, design, development, user experience design, implementation and all related activities. These efforts resulted in the automation of project review and workflow and re-engineering of the Technology Development Board (TDB) site, social media and SEO integration to provide an easy-to-use, fully functional set of tools for stakeholders, team members and grant applicants.”
Within its charter as a government organization, the Technology Development Board advances technology innovation in India through its technology grant process. Its application and approval process is complex and detailed. Enabling automation and streamlining the process of approval; improving productivity and timeliness, and effectiveness.
“We are proud to support this crucial initiative in India and to participate in the growth and innovation of the Indian technology landscape,” says Patel.
