Clickless Analytics – Disambiguating George (Part 2 of ∞)

Does not look like a technical heading? It is as serious as my other stuff. And I have forgiven the definition of technical for being ambiguous. The problem for working in a Clickless world starts with the meaning as meant in the input. So, a simple phrase “come on George” Could mean multiple things. A classic problem which the bot engine developers are resolving by using patterns and machine learning. “Come on” said by a mother, boyfriend, boss, colleague, store keeper, the barista could mean entirely different things at different times depending on the previous sentences.

Clickless Analytics – Augmented Analytics

Clickless Analytics – Augmented Analytics

Gartner recently released a paper on Augmented Analytics which is described as “An approach that automates insights using machine learning, and natural-language generation.”

Clickless Analytics

Clickless Analytics

One of the things which cause distress in a lot of activities is the click. We have to point and click. You can use your mouse, or finger or your nose if the hands are busy, but you have to click. Point and click was a solution invented for a purpose which we have extended to all areas of life. Since we work in the world of data science and analytics, I will restrict my discussion to this, though I have a plenty of opinion in the other areas.
