First, the client wished to improve its existing website to make it compliant with GIGW and CERTIN, and to make it responsive, and improve the navigation and increase user satisfaction and adoption and organizational visibility. Secondly, the client wished to establish a comprehensive project management and workflow system to support its crucial grant process from grant application through approval in order to streamline and improve the process for applicants, internal team members and stakeholders. The TDB project management and application workflow system supports grant applicants and internal members of TDB for vetting and approvals as well as approvals by other government and legal stakeholders.

Elegant MicroWeb provided support, knowledge and skill for requirements and roadmap planning, technical feasibility, graphics, layout and Ux design, architecture, development, maintenance and support, as well as upgrade, roll out, implementation, integration, training and support. The project was completed on time and on budget with beneficial automation, a streamlined vetting and approval process and improved productivity and user interface.

Case Study: Real Estate Property Management Web Portal, Supporting Brokers & Customers of Large U.S. Real Estate Service Provider

The client is a large, multi-service real estate business in New York in the United States. For over a quarter of a century, the client has provided services for real estate brokers in New York City. The client wished to employ the services of Elegant MicroWeb to provide software re-engineering, including design, development and User Experience (Ux) design, as well as performance improvement for its existing listings exchange system, and to convert this system to a multi-tenant solution to enable the client to quickly create brokerage company accounts and listings. The system transmits real-time inventory from one firm to another and supports nearly 500 firms, with approximately 10,000 daily listings exchanges.

Elegant MicroWeb re-engineered the client solution to improve responsiveness and create a multi-tenant architecture. This solution pulls various feeds into a central repository to improve performance and scalability and provides numerous new features, e.g., customer sharing, customer profile and activity management, new match auto email, geo based search and more. This re-engineering project resulted in improved productivity and transparency, as well as significant performance improvement and scalability for the solution, thereby increasing user satisfaction and adoption.

Case Study: Integrated Online Volusion eCommerce Site for US Clothing and Footware Co.

A U.S. casual clothing and footwear superstore engaged Elegant MicroWeb to help them design their website using the Volusion eCommerce framework. The client wished to provide its customers with an intuitive, secured, hassle-free online shopping experience in which to browse and shop for apparel, clothing accessories, swimwear and footwear.

The challenge was to effectively address all integration, development and customization requirements within the Volusion framework and provide a third party tax calculation tool and all required integration. This was, perhaps, the first project of its kind world-wide that would incorporate all these unique, detailed requirements into one Volusion eCommerce solution. The Elegant MicroWeb team developed product related APIs to import products for add/update/delete functionality, and to export orders. The team also designed a complex XML integration of the Volusion framework for product management, product categories and product options, and product fulfillment, as well as integrating Pro-Mail and Carhartt and a third-party tax calculation tool to compute taxes based on state, category and products.

Case Study: UK-Based Co. Gets Integrated, Personalized Fulfillment Services for Merchants

A UK-based well known logistics fulfillment and redemption business asked Elegant MicroWeb to assist in the development of a high-performance platform for off-the-shelf services to accommodate merchants and create a personalized fulfillment and redemption portal. Elegant MicroWeb created an easy-to-use interface so that merchants could easily and quickly create personalized stores, enable integration of order APIs, payment gateways, ecommerce sites, and provided alert, notification and reporting capabilities for finance, stock, redemption, shipment tracking and more.

The Elegant MicroWeb team designed architecture and developed a logistics fulfillment portal. The portal has four interfaces (administration, supplier, merchant, and agent) and allows for order dispatch, order and shipment tracking. eCommerce plug-ins allow merchants to send order details from ecommerce sites to the system. The solution also includes file import, reporting, email notification or voucher redemption, delivery and tracking and integration of popular payment gateways and shipping systems. With this solution, Elegant MicroWeb ensured swift delivery of quality products and services to merchants and end users.
