Case Study: MS Azure-Based Multi-Tenant ERP App for Multi-Location IT Rental Business in India

The client is located in India and has been in business for nearly thirty (30) years. Its core business is the rental of IT hardware and equipment and support services for that equipment. The client has seven locations across India and employs more than 200 team members supporting customers across India. The client wished to develop a new application to support a multi-tenant architecture and sell the application as a solution to other companies in the rental business. The existing application was not scalable, and it was missing core components and architecture to support multi-tenant use.

Elegant MicroWeb worked with the client team to define and document requirements and a road map for the implementation of this new multi-tenant enterprise-wide ERP application. The solution is a cloud-based, multi-tenant system based on MS Azure, which can be accessed from any one of the client branches. The solution is designed to enable roll out of this solution to client customers in the future. The project was completed on time and on budget with seamless migration of data from the old system and no business disruption. Case Study: Real Estate Property Management Web Portal, Supporting Brokers & Customers of Large U.S. Real Estate Service Provider

The client is a large, multi-service real estate business in New York in the United States. For over a quarter of a century, the client has provided services for real estate brokers in New York City. The client wished to employ the services of Elegant MicroWeb to provide software re-engineering, including design, development and User Experience (Ux) design, as well as performance improvement for its existing listings exchange system, and to convert this system to a multi-tenant solution to enable the client to quickly create brokerage company accounts and listings. The system transmits real-time inventory from one firm to another and supports nearly 500 firms, with approximately 10,000 daily listings exchanges.

Elegant MicroWeb re-engineered the client solution to improve responsiveness and create a multi-tenant architecture. This solution pulls various feeds into a central repository to improve performance and scalability and provides numerous new features, e.g., customer sharing, customer profile and activity management, new match auto email, geo based search and more. Case Study: Security Guard & Route Tracking BLE-Based Beacon App for India CPVC Pipe & Fitting Manufacturer

The enterprise is a large manufacturer of CPVC pipes and fittings with factories located across India. The client serves millions of residents and contractors, providing quality plumbing products and services with production facilities across India, supplying plumbing systems, drainage systems, agricultural plumbing products and industrial and electrical conduit pipe products. The client needed an application to track security guards employed at various facilities, and to mitigate ongoing theft issues experienced at these facilities. Every security guard is assigned a specific route and route frequency to ensure that all key security points are covered during the shift.

Elegant MicroWeb designed and developed a BLE-based beacon security monitoring solution with an easy to use interface to configure routes and frequencies for each guard. The beacons register guards passing by and confirm guards positioned and passing by at certain checkpoints and this data is submitted to the central server to produce standard and exception reports for management review. This project resulted in improved security, and productivity, reduced theft, and a seamless checkpoint and guard tracking process.

Case Study: Business Software Company, Elegant MicroWeb Builds Digital Library Portal for Gujarat Tourism, India

The Gujarat Tourism organization promotes tourism within the state and provides support for visitors and residents with comprehensive travel assistance and services including accommodation, conducted tours and ground transport and a wide range of choice to meet the diverse needs of visitors and to promote the many historic sites and sites of interest in Gujarat. As part of this charter, The Tourism Corporation of Gujarat generates extensive digital content in the form of videos, photos and images, brochures, documentaries, advertisements and other data. In the past, the users of the tourism department had to engage in a complicated manual process to review each data repository one-by-one and select content because there was no one tool to easily search integrated data or allow users to share content with other stakeholders.

The Elegant MicroWeb team built and implemented a centralized digital library portal to categorize and search content and share the digital content with internal and external stakeholders. Content includes images, videos, sound files and documents, so users can now download information and digital content files and convert any content from one format to another, and invite others to access and download the content from the portal. The solution was built for Windows operating system, on a .Net framework with a SQL Server back end.

Case Study: Customer Loyalty Software Product Widget for UK eConsulting, Market Research Firm

Elegant MicroWeb worked with a UK eConsulting, Market Research business to design a web-based widget to measure customer satisfaction and increase customer loyalty. Customers were asked just one question and the responses were analyzed to enhance and improve products and services offered by the organization over the period. In order to meet business objectives the widget had to be easy to configure, and easy to promote and use to obtain maximum responses. Personalized emails were sent, with a unique URL so the users could respond without the need to register. Feedback request could be offered via various web channels.

Elegant MicroWeb analyzed requirements, and designed and built a widget to allow customer managers to create just one question – loyalty question. Once a question is created, customer manager (administrator) can select respondents, design personalized email and rating scale for participant response. Response tracking processes allowed the business to follow-up non respondents and track responses. App also included response analysis and categorization to measure customer loyalty index over the period of time.

Case Study: Web-Based Community Software Product for UK Idea Management Business

A U.K. internet community, market research and consultation, eDemocracy solution provider selected Elegant MicroWeb to design a web-based software product that would enable users to create employee, stakeholder, customer and citizen communities and encourage collaboration, feedback and the structuring of ideas and innovation processes.
